High Plains journey Brings MCann to Seward County

Dr. Joe McCann is headed to school once again..this time as the new vice president of academic affairs at Seward County Community College.  McCann grew up in South Dakota and was exposed to a lively mixture of cultures.  Mccann’s first teaching job was a high school chemistry teacher along with high school math and that led to a job atHibbing Community College in Minnesota.

McCann has over four decades of service in education in place and with people from many different backgrounds.
