Hutch Leaves Seward Feeling Green on Dig Pink Night

KSCB News - October 15, 2009 12:00 am

It figures that it wouldn’t come this easily. After winning the first set 25-17, Saints fans had visions of a sweep. But Hutch would win the next three sets and win the match in front of a big crowd in the Green House. Seward lost (25-17. 24-26, 24-26, 20-25). The ninth ranked Saints remain in first place at 8-1 in the Jayhawk West and 22-6 overall while number 17 Hutchinson improves to 18-7 overall and 6-2 in the conference. The Saints play in West Plains, Missouri Friday and Saturday. The Saints have three conference matches remaining.
