No Injuries Reported in Rollover Accident

Deputies of the Seward County Sheriff’s Office, Seward County EMS 1st responders and Seward County Fire personal responded to a rollover accident Sunday, May 5that approx.5:38pm.

Eduardo Estrada-Garcia from Liberal,  was traveling Southbound on US HWY 83 at Mile Post 13, driving a 2007 Chevy 4 Door Sebring. The vehicle belonged to Pedro Ortega of Liberal.  The Sebring began to hydroplane and went sideways into the East ditch.  The vehicle hit a guide wire for an electric pole and rolled twice, through a fence and over a water hydrant. The Chevy came to rest on its wheels and no injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle and fence line were estimated at over 1,000 dollars.
