Liberal Runs Home Court Streak to 43

The streak lives until at least September of 2010. Liberal won their 43rd consecutive home volleyball match Monday night in the “Big House.” Liberal beat Garden City 3-1 (23-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-18). Katie Burnett registered 14 kills and seven digs. Caitlin Bauer had 11 kills, 21 assists, and three blocks. Ashlyn Westerman had 13 kills and 19 assists. Destiny Hall added 15 kills and four blocks. Senior Mercede Werner added four digs in her last match in the “Big House.” Liberal is 21-11 and competes at the WAC Tournament Saturday in Garden City.
