Liberal City Commission Meets, Approves Insurance Renewal

The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening for their regularly scheduled meeting. Among the items approved was the City’s insurance renewal with Employers Mutual through Al Shank Insurance in the amount of $608,126.00.

Also approved was the rezoning of property in the West Ohio and Cain Street area from an Agriculture district to Multiple Family Dwelling District.

At a previous meeting the Commission approved work to be done on the drainage in the Can Creek and Baseball Field area, at Tuesdays meeting, RJA Dozer LLC was chosen as the contractor to do the work.
