LHS Places Sixth at Ulysses

The LHS girls golf team placed sixth out of eight teams at Bendwood Golf Course in Ulysses Tuesday. Megan Campbell shot a 102 for 10th and just missed placing. Kaela Krueger shot a 109 while Evan Sumner added a 114, Jamie Brond (117), Maddie Rees (119), Meagan Hanna (119), and Emily Jackson (125) rounded out the Redskin scoring. Kamie Rash shot an 83 for first. Larned won with a 395 while LHS scored a 443. Liberal goes to Great Bend Tuesday. Head coach Kody Thexton says the girls had a tough time with high winds and fast greens.
