Fatality Plane Crash Saturday Night

Fatality aircraft incident occurred on Saturday evening at approximately 6:00pm, near
Mile Marker 59 and County Road A, approximately 5 miles east of Tyrone, OK in Texas County
The accident involved a1978 Beech Baron (N48117M) piloted by Richard C James, 79 of Carmichael, CA. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries.
A female passenger in the aircraft, also from Carmichael CA, died from massive injuries, but her name is being withheld pending positive identification.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
