Know Your Voter Rights

KSCB News - June 26, 2018 11:40 am

(by Kay Burtzloff)

While the recent ruling on the court case on voter identification has clarified some issues, there is still confusion in Kansas on voter registrations and voting. The Liberal Area Coalition for Families and the ACLU are sponsoring an event at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the Liberal Memorial Library to hold an in-depth conversation and action night to make sure Kansas voters know their rights. We will cover everything from ID requirements to what to do if you encounter an issue at the polls.

You can RSVP by calling 620-629-0203 or on line at https://go.peoplepower.org/event/action_attend/14246.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
