No Injuries Reported with 2 Deer/Vehicle Accidents

The Seward County Sheriff Office responded to two different vehicle vs deer accidents during the late night hours of Wednesday June 13th.

At 4:49am  deputies were dispatched to a one vehicle accident 1/10th of a mile East of Road R on Road 4.  A 2017 GMC driven by a male from Liberal was traveling West on Road 4 when it struck a deer crossing the roadway. No injuries were reported.

At 6:21am that same morning deputies were dispatched to a one vehicle accident 1.3 miles North of Road 16 on Road I.  A 2001 Chev driven by a male from Satanta was traveling South in the 17000 block of Road I, when it struck a deer that was crossing the roadway.  No Injuries were reported with this accident.

The Sheriff Office would like to remind everyone to be careful when driving in the rural areas and be alert for deer.
