Joe Denoyer - April 24, 2018 11:57 am

Crews will begin a mill and overlay project on U.S. 160 from the U.S. 54 junction to east to the Meade/Clark County line on Monday, April 30.

Crews will also begin a mill and overlay project on U.S. 160 from the Meade/Clark county line east to U.S. 283 junction in Clark County on Monday, April 30.

U.S. 160 will be reduced to one lane guided by a pilot car during working hours with an approximate delay of 15 minutes during the project.  KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, slow down when approaching a work zone and be prepared to stop.

APAC Shears of Hutchinson is the contractor on this $1 million project which is expected to be completed in June, weather permitting.

For more information on this project, contact Joyce Muhlenbruch, Construction Manager, at (620) 227-6122 or Lisa Knoll, KDOT District 6 Public Affairs Manager, at (620) 765-7080.
