Joe Denoyer - April 23, 2018 10:27 pm

USD 480

The USD 480 Board of Education met in regular session Monday evening and recognized the April Teacher of the Month, Chad Ralston, an Eisenhower math teacher.  Meadowlark Elementary staff also updated the BOE on their progress as a Mercury Redesign school and plans for personalized learning beginning in the fall.

In new business, the BOE approved the recommendation from the health insurance committee to increase the board benefit to $490 per month, add the telemedicine option, and other changes.  They also approved the purchase of Edgenuity Learning to be used at LHS as a replacement for the Plato online learning platform in the amount of $48,500, and student handbook changes for the 18-19 school year.
