Waterline Project Nears Completion, New Project Begins

Joe Denoyer - January 16, 2018 11:32 am

The contractor is completing the waterline project on 8th Street. They are anticipating starting on a new project on Hickory Street approximately on Monday January 22nd. Work will begin on the east end of Hickory St. and move west from Warren St. to Virginia St. The project will continue west to Lincoln St.

The initial construction could possibly have an adverse impact on traffic flow to Prairieview Elementary and Seymour Rogers Middle School. The Liberal Police Department will have officers in place for the after school pick up traffic.

If you have children going to one of these schools, please contact the school as they will advise you of the temporary traffic flow changes.
