Forgan Man Injured in Roll-Over

Brock Kappelmann - December 1, 2017 2:55 pm

A roll-over accident injured a Forgan man Friday morning.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports 38 year old Ronnie Doyle Sorter of Forgan was headed south on NS126 in Beaver County when he lost control of the vehicle on the washboards.  The car went into the east ditch and rolled 1.5 times.  This occurred at about 5:40 Friday morning seven miles east of Turpin.  Sorter was pinned for about one hours and 23 minutes.   Seward County EMS transported him to Southwest Medical Center.  He was then transferred to Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.  He was extricated by Beaver and Turpin fire rescues using the Jaws of Life.  He was not wearing a seat belt.
