Liberal’s North Kansas Avenue Project to Begin

The North Kansas Ave. project in the City of Liberal will begin next week and is on Kansas Avenue from 15th Street north to Highway 83. Weather permitting, the entire project will end December 31, 2017.

Construction on Phase I of the project will start on Thursday September 14. Phase I will close the two northbound lanes. Traffic will be moved to the southbound lanes with one going north and the other going south.
