Suspicious Materials Investigated in Ulysses

On May 21, 2017 at 1:20pm officers from the Ulysses Police Department responded to a reported disturbance in the 500 block of North Ridgewood in Ulysses. Officers investigating the incident located suspicious materials at that location.
As a safety precaution, assistance was requested from Kansas Highway Patrol Explosive Unit.
No hazardous materials were found by the explosive unit.
One suspect was taken into custody.
