Liberal Fire Department Honors Their Own

The Liberal Fire Department held their annual awards banquet & ceremony on Saturday February 18th.
This is where the Department recognizes personnel for years of service awards and peer recognition awards. This year they did not have any awards for 5, 10, 15 or 20 years of service.
In the categories for the “of the Year” awards, the following recipients were recognized:
Rookie of the Year: Erving Altamirano
Full-Time Firefighter of the Year: Kevin Altamirano
Officer of the Year: Aaron Luman
Volunteer Firefighter of the Year: Ronnie Sumner
Outstanding Firefighter of the Year: Tyson Rice
