Man Dies While Restoring Power On Beaver County

BEAVER COUNTY, Okla. (KVII) — A man working to restore power in Beaver County died Sunday evening, according to Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC.)
According to TCEC, the man was part of a contract crew. A second person was being flown to a burn unit in Oklahoma City, the coop said.

The identity of the man killed was not immediately released.

TCEC said the man died after the contract crew “came into contact with a high voltage line.”

The incident remains under investigation.
