All of Seward County Receives Disaster Declaration

Joe Denoyer - January 16, 2017 4:12 pm

Today at 12:15 Nathan McCaffrey, Chair of the Seward County BOCC declared a disaster as a result of the ice storm.
Departments and Agencies that have or will incur cost/damage from this storm should document those costs, an estimate is fine for now.
Seward County Emergency Preparedness Director, Greg Standard, would like to know estimates of costs you anticipate as soon as you can provide that information, the state will want to get some idea of this if they pursue a federal declaration.
Debris (trees/limbs) would seem to be the largest issue, overtime if it was required due to the storm, or any other costs that are directly related can be used.

If you have any questions please call Greg Standard at 620-629-5410
