Lester Eugene Glenn

Lester Eugene Glenn, 88, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming. He was born October 2, 1926 at Okeene, Oklahoma, the son of Theodore Elling and Cora Edna (Maxwell) Glenn. He graduated from Turpin High School.

On June 17, 1950 he married Mildred “Millie” Ruby DeShazer at Raton, NM. She preceded him in death on January 9, 1991.

He served his country in the Army during the Korean War from 1945 to 1948.
He was a Custom Cutter all of his life and worked in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Colorado.

He was a member of U. S. Custom Harvester’s, American Legion and the Liberal Senior Center.

Survivors: 1 Daughter Catherine McIntyre and husband David Riverton, WY
2 Sons Richard Glenn and wife Elizabeth Turpin, OK
Lester “Gene” Eugene Glenn, Jr. and wife Rita Joplin, MO

12 Grandchildren and 39 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Son Robert Glenn, 1 Grandson Dustin Glenn, 1 Granddaughter Charis McNeal, 1 Sister Leota Young, and Daughter-in-law Teresa Glenn.

Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Monday, February 16, 2015 at Central Christian Church, with Pastor Bill Moore presiding. Burial will take place at Liberal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-5pm Sunday, with the family present to greet friends at Brenneman Funeral Home.
