Redskins Bounce Back with Win Over Garden City

The Liberal soccer team beat defending WAC champ Garden City 3-2 Thursday evening at the Cornelsen Sports Complex. Eliel Gonzalez scored two goals giving the Redskins at 2-0 lead at the half. Eduardo Moreno scored a goal at the 37:28 mark of the second half to give the Skins a 3-1 lead. LHS is 6-1 and 2-1 in the WAC. The Redskins play at Thomas Moore Prep in Hays Thursday.
