Seward County Fire Department To Assist With Training

Seward County Fire Department will be assisting with Firefighter training classes this fall, beginning August 20th at the Seward County Community College campus. These courses are Fire 101 and Hazardous Materials operations, out reach classes from Garden City Community College

The two Classes offer a total of 8 credit hours of instruction and are basic classes to prepare the student for the Fire Service, hands on and class room training are the core of this program.

Students will participate in Live Burns at the state of the art Garden City Community College Burn Facility.

Enrollment will take place on August 20th in room T 116 at the Technical school facility of SCCC
