Liberal City Commission Meets, Honors Employees

The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening at 5:30pm for their regularly scheduled meeting. Among the items on the agenda, the commission approved the final readings of Ordinances 4460 amending the Zayo Group Franchise agreement, and4461Declaring it necessary to appropiate private property for the use of the City. Commissioners also moved to second readings the 2016 Standard Traffic Ordinance and Uniform Public Offense Codes. Also recognized at the meeting were City employees who achieved 10 years of service with the City. Those employees included Ragan Dreitz Fire Dept., Tara Johnson Finance Dept., John McCord Police Dept., Cody Regier Fire Dept. and Shawna Shuck Municipal Court.
