Eurydice Takes Stage In November

A classic story of love, loss, and new beginnings will take the Showcase Theater stage when the SCCC/ATS fall play opens Nov. 5. �??Eurydice�?� follows the story of a girl who dies too young on her wedding day, and must journey to the underworld where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love, Orpheus.

The classic story from Greek mythology gets a modern twist, with music and unusual special effects director Gloria Goodwin says are �??breathtaking.�?�

�??I�??m really encouraging our student body and the community to come out and support it,�?� she said. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 5-7. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for children and seniors. Call 620-417-1451 for reservations.
