LHS Hosts Homecoming Friday

Liberal High School’s fall homecoming is here. LHS hosts Garden City for the homecoming game Friday night at 7 at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex. The coronation will be at halftime of the game and will air on 1270 and kscbnews.net. The queen candidates are Jordan Urban, Abbey Hebbert, Gaby Amparan, Cathy Nguyen, and Maria Nunez. The king candidates are Caleb Brond, Jared Hasik, Alejandro Gutierrez, Greg McClurg, and Emilio Travillo. The crown bearer is Jonathan Bustillos and the flower girl is Delilah Diaz de Leon. Both are in kindergarten at McDermott. The homecoming parade in downtown Liberal is at 2:30 Friday. School lets out early Friday at 1:20 for West, Cottonwood, Sunflower, Garfield, Lincoln, and McKinley and 1:30 for LHS, South, MacArthur, McDermott, Southlawn, and Washington. No PM kindergarten ofr pre k classes Friday.
