Traffic Delays Expected In Guymon Road Resurfacing Project

A resurfacing project is underway along Highway 64 within the city limits of Guymon. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) project will stretch from North 12th St. to North 24th Street.
In order to complete the project, one lane will be closed on each side of the highway. This will cause some traffic delays.

“We ask residents to adjust travel routes along Highway 64 between 12th and 24th to alleviate congestion caused by lane closures,” City Manager Kimberly Meek said.

Officials suggest that residents use streets running parallel to the highway to avoid congestion until the project is completed.
