Former Bee Jay to Make First All-Star Game Appearance

Current Houston Astros player Hunter Pence will selected and will participate in Tuesday’s 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star game for the first time in his career.
Pence played for the Liberal Bee Jays back in 2003 under current assistant Seward County baseball coach Mike Davidson.
Pence also worked out with current Saints head coach Galen McSpadden, and played college baseball with McSpadden’s son Josh at the University of Texas-Arlington.
