KSCB News - July 12, 2009 12:00 am

A Lakin teenager has died in a rollover accident in rural Grant County.

Jamon Williams, 16, died at the scene of an accident about 5:37 a.m. Friday in the 6500 block of North Road V, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said emergency medical officials who arrived at the scene found Williams ejected from a rolled over 2003 Volkswagon passenger car.

Law enforcement officials do not believe Williams was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, they said.
