OPSU Assistant and Former Jayhawk to Speak in Liberal

The Liberal Ministerial Alliance presents Super Bowl Outreach again this year. During Sunday’s Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Seatte Seahawks, everyone is welcome to attend an event to watch the game in fellowship and hear words of testimony. The event begins at 5 a Faith Tabernacle Church at 514 North Kansas. There will be free Pizza Hut Pizza and Coke. Current OPSU receivers coach and former Kansas football player Marcus Herford will share his testimony at halftime. He helped the Aggies to 7-3 this season for their first seven win season in 28 years. Herford played for Mark Mangino at KU from 2004-08 and holds the record at KU for the most career yards (2,075) on kickoff returns and played on the 2008 Orange Bowl team. He will also speak at the Faith Tabernacle Sunday morning service at 10:30. For more information and to RSVP call Rex Petty at 624-7565.
