One man is injured after the car he was driving crossed the center line and crashed into a semi in Stanton County. The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday night 8.5 miles north of Johnson on K27. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 26 year old Ernest Wayne Newton of Vega, Texas driving a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic north on K27 before going left of center. A semi tractor pulling a grain trailer loaded with corn was headed south and tried to avoid the Newton vehicle.
