Dr. Valdez To Relocate To Wichita Area

William Valdez, M.D., recently announced his resignation from Southwest Medical Center after making the decision to relocate to the Wichita area.

Dr. Valdez, a physician for the Southwest Professional Physicians Internal Medicine clinic, began serving patients in the Liberal area in October 2010.

Southwest Medical Center wishes Dr. Valdez and his family the best as he prepares to move in August.

“We were pleased to have the professional services offered by Dr. Valdez, he provided excellent care for his patients,” said Bill Ermann, President and CEO of Southwest Medical Center. “We wish Dr. Valdez and his family all the best in their future.”

Letters will be sent to Valdez’s patients informing them of his last day at Southwest Medical Center’s Medical Office Building. Medical records for Valdez’s patients will continue to remain confidential and secure.

“Dr. Valdez’s patients’ records will remain under our care at the SWPP Internal Medicine clinic,” explained Cathleen Bulot, Director of Health Information Services at SWMC. “If patients would like a copy of their records or need them transferred to another care provider, they may contact the clinic office at 620-624-0702 .”
