State Board of Ed,125th District House Forums on Tuesday

Voters will get a chance to hear the 5th District Kansas State Boad of Education and the 125th District House of Representative candidates Tuesday evening, July 15th at a candidate forum that begins at 7:00pm on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net. The Liberal Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend the forum at the Rock Island Depot. Questions may be submitted prior to and during the forum at [email protected] or call 624-3855. Written questions will also be taken from the live audience during the forum. The candidates include: 5th District State Board of Ed. Candidates Incumbent Sally Cauble, Dodge City, and Challenger Meg Wilson of Great Bend, both candidates are Republicans. Also at the Forum will be the candidates for the Kansas House of Representative 125th District Shannon Francis and Jim Rice both are also Republicans.

The next candidate forum at the Depot is July 29th, and will feature the Democrat candidates for the US House of Representatives, James Sherow and Bryan Whitney, Questions can be submitted for these forums as well.
