Local Libraries Celebrate National Women’s History Month

Join the Liberal Memorial Library and the Seward County Community
College/Area Technical School Library in celebrating National Women’s
History Month with a panel discussion on Wednesday, March 26 at noon.

The panel, which will be held in the Cooper Clark room of the Liberal
Memorial Library, will feature women from the area discussing their
accomplishments, experiences and service to the community.

Among the panelists are Jo Harrison of the Southwest Medical Center,
Cynthia Rapp of Seward County Community College/Area Technical School
and Jana Jantzen of the First National Bank.

Since 1984, the month of March has been designated “Women’s History Month.”

Snacks and refreshments will be served at the program, which is free and
open to the public.
