Wichita Police Catch Kilbourne

After four days of searching, suspected gunman Jan Kilbourne has been arrested.

Wichita Police Lt. Doug Nolte announced the arrest Friday morning. Nolte tells KAKE News Kilbourne was captured at an apartment on Crestview in Wichita.

Kilbourne was wanted for the shooting of a Butler County Sheriff’s Deputy during a traffic stop Monday morning. The search for the last two days had focused on Cowley County, most recently a creek near Winfield.
