Sox Double Up Bee Jays

KSCB News - June 13, 2009 12:00 am

The two Seward pitchers both pitched well and if it were a game which were an NBC World Series game, the two might have locked up for a lengthy pitcher’s dual. But it was a non league game so Liberal’s Doran went five innings allowing one run and striking out six and Colorado’s Collins tossed six innings allowing one unearned run. The Sox beat the BJ’s 4-2 to split the two game series. Louisiana Tech’s Justin Gordey had two hits and a double. The Bee Jays are 4-4 and return to league play Saturday night and Sunday night at 7:00 PM in Hays.
