Straight Line Winds Blow Over Semi in Seward County

Straight line winds from a thunderstorm are to blame for blowing over a semi in Seward County Thursday evening. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 30 year old Gursharn Singh Grewal of Ontario, Canada was driving a semi towing a utility trailer north on Highway 83 about eight miles south of Sublette. The strong winds blew over the semi at about 5:45 Thursday evening. Grewal received possible injuries and was taken to Southwest Medical Center.
