SWMC Continues Fight Against Cancer With Fundraiser

KSCB News - October 25, 2012 10:26 am

Need a bear to light up your yard or a quilt to keep you warm and help out a good cause at the same time? The Southwest Medical Center Social and Recreation Committee is selling chances for a handmade wooden bear that lights up. There are three chances to win – two red bears and one breast cancer pink bear. The Skilled Nursing Unit at Southwest Medical Center is also selling chances for a handmade pink quilt. Chances are available for $1 per chance or six for $5. Monies raised will go to the Think Pink program (bear sales) and the Seward County Health Department for mammograms for women in need. Drawings will take place on October 31. Please contact Nancy Kletecka at 620-629-6335 for your chance or for more information.
