SCFD Kicks Off Fire Prevention Week Sunday in Kismet

FIRE PREVENTION WEEK 2012

The Seward County Fire Department will kick off Fire Prevention Week 2012 with an open house in Kismet on Sunday, October 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event will be held at the Kismet Community Pavilion on Main Street in Kismet.

In addition to having activities for both kids and adults, we will also have fire trucks and firefighting equipment on display; our Hazardous Materials truck, trailer and equipment to look over; and packets of fire safety material for all age groups with items such as coloring books, fire safety information, etc.

There will be drawings for FREE smoke detectors, CO detectors and a combustible gas detector—and we will also have refreshments!!

Please drop by the Kismet Community Pavilion between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday October 7 to help us celebrate the beginning of Fire Prevention Week 2012!!!
