Seward Notches NJCAA Tournament Win

Seward’s softball team earned their first NJCAA Tournament win yesterday evening in St. George, Utah 5-3 over Motlow State. Courtney Auger struck out seven in the win. Brianna Beron went 3-3 while Katy Glenn was 2-3 with two runs scored. The Seward County Lady Saints softball team lost their National Tournament opener 2-1 to Wallace State today. Courtney Auger had eight strikeouts in the loss. Brianna Baron went 2-3 at the plate with two doubles. Jamie Gilbert was 3-3 from the plate. The Lady Saints are 39-15 overall and play Odessa today at noon central time. The game will air on Talkradio 1270 and on kscb.net.
