Gary Andrews, republican, has filed for County Commission District 5. County filings to date include the following; (candidate filings are not listed in any order)

Darrell Long, democrat, for Fargo Township Trustee
E. Paul Boles, republican incumbent, for Seward Township Treasurer.
C.J. Wettstein, republican incumbent, for Seward County Commission District 1
Jim Rice, republican incumbent, for Seward County Commission District 5
Don Scott, republican incumbent, for Seward County Attorney
Karen J. Warden, republican incumbent, for Seward County Register of Deeds
Bill McBryde, republican incumbent, for Seward County Sheriff
Stacia Long, republican incumbent, for Seward County Clerk
Sherry Wilson, republican incumbent, for Seward County Treasurer
Larry Phillips, republican, for County Commission District 1

State candidate filings to date include Clint Peterson, republican incumbent, for District Court Judge 26th Judicial District 2nd Division; J. Stephen Alford, republican incumbent, State House of Representative District 124; Carl D. Holmes, republican incumbent, and Reid Petty, republican, for State House of Representative District 125.

The filing deadline for U.S. House, Kansas Senate, Kansas House, and State Board of Education is now Monday, June 11th at 12:00 p.m. The filing deadline changes ONLY for those offices affected by redistricting. The filing deadline remains unchanged for elected judges, county, township, precinct and other local officials.

That filing deadline is June 1, 2012 at noon.
