Senior Nights Have Kicked Off At Broadcast Square

KSCB News - May 6, 2009 12:00 am

Monday Night, May 4th, area high school seniors started invading Broadcast Square. It is an annual event where Senior students virtually take over both 102.7 The Legend, and B107.5. The students come to the studios where the are fed supper, then share memories on the air, of their high school years, and nothing is off limits. Students share stories about themselves, fellow classmates and yes, sometimes even their teachers. It gets funny, embarrassing, and sometimes emotional, as students share their plans for the future and what they will miss the most about their schools, communities and friends. They even get to pick the music (scary). This year we have already seen Seniors from Southwestern Heights and Turpin, with Liberal High School scheduled for tonight, May the 6th, Hugoton seniors tomorrow, with Beaver High School seniors on Monday, May the 11th, and Elkhart High on May 13th. Senior Nights are simulcast on B107.5 and 102.7 the Legend, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
