Rabid Skunks Found In Dodge City

A third rabid skunk has been discovered in Dodge City.

Dodge City Police responded to Kent & Doralane on a report of a skunk walking around in the daylight and acting strange Wednesday.

The skunk was destroyed and sent to Kansas State University for testing. Tests indicated the skunk had rabies.

The Dodge City Animal Control Division requests all domestic pet owners to have their pets vaccinated for rabie
