Southern Office Supply Wins Main Street Guymon Award

KSCB News - March 19, 2012 8:23 am

Southern Office Supply and it’s owners and staff received the Best Business Practices award for 2011 from the Main Street Guymon Board of Directors.
Southern Office Supply came into being in 1984 with the partnership of Tony McKee and Sam Fouquet. They opened shop in a small building located on Main Street and within six years had purchased the five story building that was formerly the Dale Hotel, a building of great historical significance in the area. During the move to the hotel at 6th and Quinn, one block off Main and in our Main Street District, six employees worked hard and long for the move.
Today Southern Office Supply operates under the Employee Stock Ownership Plan and is managed by Chris Campbell, who was an employee the day the business began.

The community spirit shown by the staff at Southern Office Supply is exceptional. A community fund raiser, civic organization, school activity, Main Street or Chamber … we all have benefited hugely through the giving mission of Southern Office Supply

Southern Office Supply is well respected within the community and trusted. Southern Office Supply owners shall receive their award at the April 17th Main Street Guymon Garden Party. Anyone interested in attending this, which includes a full dinner, should contact Melyn Johnson at [email protected] or 338-6246.
