Turpin??s Bradley Kinser is Electrifying Student of the Month

KSCB News - March 15, 2012 8:28 am

Bradley Kinser is an accomplished student who is dedicated to his church and community. As a senior at Turpin High School , Bradley is a leader amongst his peers with more than 120 hours of community service. For these qualities and more, he was selected as Tri-County Electric Cooperative’s March Electrifying Student of the Month.

As a student, Bradley takes advanced placement classes, plays on the football team and has won many accolades in football such as offensive player of the year and Class A District Defensive Back of the Year in 2011. He also participates in baseball, runs track and plays basketball where he was selected as 2012 Panhandle All-Conference.

Off the field, he is the president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and had made it to state level with the fellowship. Bradley is member of the National Honor Society, has been on the superintendent’s honor roll and received meriting academic recognition during his high school tenure.

In his community, Bradley attends Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Liberal where he helped remodel the church in 2010, dedicating many hours to this endeavor.

“Bradley sets the bar when it comes to accountability in the classroom, on and off the field and court,” said Valerie Rider in her nomination of Bradley. “Bradley lives his life as the example that he wants younger students to emulate.”

Bradley’s role model in life is his father, Darrin.

“He’s a great man and if I could be half the man he is, I would be happy,” Bradley said.

Bradley plans to study athletic training at either Seward County Community College or Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Darrin and Angela Kinser of Turpin are Bradley’s parents.
