Criminal Justice Students/Advisor Place at Competition

Nestor Daniel Carrasco, Maria Anahi Vazquez, and Jose Pando, all of Liberal, placed third in crime scene investigation at the American Criminal Justice Association Region III Conference/Competition at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. The competition consists of various criminal justice exams, physical agility course, individual and team firearms and crime scene at the lower, upper and professional divisions. Students from eight community colleges and universities were at this year’s competition. Adviser Cristy Mulanax took first in physical agility for ages 35 and up and second place in corrections and juvenile justice exams.
