Liberal National Guardsmen Return Home

15 Liberal members of the 731st Transportation Company of the Kansas
Army National Guard participated in the Welcome Home Ceremony at the
Salina Bicentennial Center in Salina, Kansas on Sunday, October 23,
2011. They were welcomed home by the Lieutenant Governor, the
Adjutant General, and their company commander in a short ceremony and
then released to join their families. They will be returning to
Liberal in the next few days on their own. The Noon Kiwanis club put
of flags on Kansas Avenue to welcome them home.
