Leavenworth VA To Hire 400 People

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
is looking for 400 new employees in Leavenworth.
The new workers would staff the Central Plains Consolidated
Patient Account Center. It recently opened at the Dwight D.
Eisenhower VA Medical Center.
Veterans Affair spokesman Kevin Johnson says the employees need
basic computer and communication skills. The jobs include such
things as financial accounting, medical billing and reimbursement
and insurance verification.
Some positions are targeted for veterans, but most are open to the
general public.
Applications are being taken through www.usajobs.gov.
