Sen. Steve Morris To Get New Chief Of Staff

KSCB News - July 7, 2011 8:10 am

Kansas Senate President Steve Morris will be
getting a new chief of staff next month.
The Hugoton Republican says Joshua Lewis will replace Michael
White as his top aide on Aug. 15.
White is leaving to become manager of state governmental affairs
for ITC Great Plains, an electric transmission company. White will
oversee the company’s lobbying in Kansas and Oklahoma.
Lewis served this year as chief of staff to Senate Ways and
Means Committee Chairwoman Carolyn McGinn. But he recently joined
the Senate president’s staff to help with work on redistricting
issues.
Lewis also is a former staffer for Kansas Congresswoman Lynn
Jenkins.
