Bond Question Survey Causes Voter Concern

Many voters have called the Seward County Clerkź??s Office concerned about the USD 480 Board of Education follow up survey to the bond question on the April 7, 2009 City/School General Election.

It has been reported that ź??the service will contact 200 ź??yesź?? voters, 200 ź??noź?? voters.ź?ť Patron Insight can request a list of voters who voted in the April 7, 2009 City/School General Election. USD 480 has informed the Seward County Clerks office that the company will ask the voter the following.

Why yes/no?

The company may make thousands of phone calls to compile the data from 200 ź??yesź?? and 200 ź??noź?? voters. The information from the survey will then be presented to the USD 480 School Board.

While who voted in an election is open record, how each individual voted is unavailable even to the Seward County Clerks office. The voting equipment insures voter secrecy. If you have questions regarding the survey please contact the USD 480 School Board at 604-1010.
