Liberal Swimmers Set Personal Bests in Garden

The Liberal High School swim team finished fourth Tuesday in Garden City. Ashlyn Westerman, Morgan Wills, Taylor Apsley, and Alma Varela finished with a personal best 2:38 in the 200 Medley Relay. Westerman, Wills, Apsley, and Yoko Rader then set another personal best for the team finishing the 200 Free Relay in 2:18. Freshman Taylor Apsley also finished fifth in the 100 Butterfly. The Liberal swim team is in their first season as a sport at Liberal High School. They will next swim in Maize on Saturday.
