Western Kansas Highway Reopens After Fatal Accident

A portion of a highway in Western Kansas has reopened after a fatal accident Wednesday. Seventy-two year old Dixie Osenbaugh of Scranton, Kansas died in the crash. She was driving west on Highway 54 when her car crossed the center line and struck an oncoming semi in the east bound lane. The crash occurred at about 9:20 between Bucklin and Mullinville in Ford County.

US-54 was closed between Bucklin and Mullinville for three hours. Traffic was detoured on US-400 and K-34. The semi was pulling two trailers.
